Mr. Oba AbdulBarki

Mr. Oba AbdulBarki is a Chartered Accountant and the Acting Bursar of the University of Ilorin. A graduate of Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1994), he joined the university as an Accountant I in 1999 and became Deputy Bursar in 2016. Mr. AbdulBarki has a deep expertise in Public Financial Management, demonstrated by his leadership in various roles, including heading the Ledger & Final Accounts, Salaries, Loans & Advances, Treasury, and Finance Unit of the Institute of Education. His teaching experience includes Management Accounting at the ICAN/NNDC study center, Ilorin. He is also a resource person at UNILORIN’s Centre for Research, Development, and In-house Training (CREDIT) and has served on several key university committees.
